About the Archive

Hi! I'm Alex.

This project originated after I found a Google Spreadsheet containing every single work of the artist Kendrick Lamar. I decided I wanted to create something similar for one of my favourite artists, Jon Bellion. The Jon Bellion Archive Project grew in popularity massively in the community, and I decided I wanted to make it into a website.

As someone who had never made a website before, I struggled massively with this due to the extensive size of Jon Bellion's artistic catelogue. I decided that I wanted to make a smaller-scale version of the archive to learn more about making a website like this, in order to best optimise The Jon Bellion Archive, and landed on Cigarettes After Sex as my 'test project'

The Cigarettes After Sex Archive is the culmination of countless hours of work and research, and I intend to keep it running as long as possible.

As I mentioned, this project is taking an insane amount of work. Aside from that, to allow for the website to have a custom domain and other quality-of-life features, it does cost me money. If you would like to donate to me for the work I have put in to the site, and more importantly for me to be able to keep it running, please do feel free.
